Dare and AmplifyME are proud to present the Dare Trading Championship, a two-round competition for university students across the UK.
The winning team will receive £10,000 for their university society and an opportunity to participate in Dare's internship program.

The competition
Participants must be currently enrolled in any course at a university in the UK, and there is no limit to the number of students who can enter from each university.
In the first round, participants will compete as individuals within their respective societies. During this stage, each individual will engage in a week-long live online oil trading competition. The competition, crafted by AmplifyME, will utilize CME Group’s trading challenge environment which simulates all trades using live market data.
In the second round, the top performers from each society will unite to create a team that will represent their university in the grand final. These chosen individuals will be invited to participate in the final event and engage in a unique trading simulation. From the numerous participants, only 8 teams will advance to the ultimate face-off. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on July 6th at Dare's innovation lab in London, where the remaining teams will engage in a live and exhilarating competition.

Round 1: Online live oil competition
Registered participants compete in a 1-week live oil trading competition from 8am Monday 12th June to 4pm Friday 16th June.
16th June 2023
Round 1 closes
The winners are determined, and it is now the turn of the top 8 societies to assemble their team comprising of the top performers (maximum 3). These individuals will represent their university and proceed to round 2.
6th July 2023
Round 2: Face to Face Battle
The top 8 teams have earned their invitation to a thrilling face-to-face battle. Through a series of knockout stages, the ultimate winning team will be determined.
